CeraVe Vitamin C Serum

I've been using the CeraVe skin renewing vitamin C 10% serum for 9 days through a product test with the CeraVe community. The serum is a lightweight serum containing 10% vitamin C alongside, hyaluronic acid and the 3 ceramides that all CeraVe products contain. The serum claims not only to brighten complexion as most vitamin C serums claim to do but also promises to improve skin texture and fine lines as well as strengthen the skin barrier. My experience: On first use you need to twist the cap down to break an air tight seal on the tube. This helps to keep the active ingredient fresh until use. The serum has no fragrance and a lightweight beige liquid consistency. Only a small amount is needed. Designed to be used for daytime use and daily, despite the high strength on the vitamin C, the serum is not irritating. It absorbs well into the skin leaving no film or sticky texture. Since introducing this into my routine my skin has been stable despite being blemish prone. I have seen a brightening effect on overall skintone. I feel like appearance on texture of skin is also getting better. Moreover I have found my stubborn hyperpigmentation marks have reduced in intensity adding well into my existing skin routine. I've been impressed with the results so far and glad I've had the opportunity to try it. This product costs more than the average price of other CeraVe serums and moisturisers but I think I would buy again for regular use based on my experience so far.
