Prevents blemishes

I was kindly gifted Cerave Blemish Control Gel from The Cerave Community in exchange for my honest review. This is a 40ml blemish control gel that is supposed to reduce blemishes and imperfections, it also improves the look of pores. It was developed with dermatologists to target blackheads and blemishes whilst still protecting the natural skin barrier. It contains; 2% salicylic Acid Niacinamide 3 essential ceramides And more…. The cream works by reducing excess oils that can produce breakouts. It’s a lightweight translucent moisturiser it’s more of serum consistency. It’s fragrance and alcohol free. This is no scent what ever. I apply the gel in the evening after cleansing and following my usual skincare routine. I would recommend using in the evening at all times as it contains AHA which can cause light sensitivity. Apply in circular motions all over face or use directly on targeted areas. It absorbs so quickly and I personally don’t find it sticky as long as you don’t apply too much. I’ve been using now for over two weeks and I have noticed less breakouts. It has also improved the appearance of my pores. My skin looks much more balanced and hydrated. I didn’t find it caused any irritation so would say it’s suitable for sensitive skin. I did have a huge hormonal breakout and I found the more aggressive spots it didn’t work as well on but it did execrate the recovery time slightly. Whereas the smaller less aggressive areas they were cleared up immediately. I personally would say this is more of a preventer and as long as you keep it in your routine it prevents breakouts. I would 100% would recommend
