One of the wildest skincare myths I’ve seen is the idea that “sunscreen is only necessary on sunny days.” It’s super common, but totally false! UV rays are present even on cloudy or rainy days, and they penetrate windows and can reflect off surfaces, which means they can still damage your skin indoors or during overcast weather. The UVA rays, which are primarily responsible for skin aging, are consistent year-round, regardless of how sunny it is outside. So daily sunscreen is essential, no matter the season or weather!
