The stupidest thing I’ve seen advised is “the more you wash you face the better”. As a teen I did this as I had oily skin and it’s only been as a fully grown adult I’ve realised how many years i spent stripping my skin and making the oiliness worse! Now I use a proper moisturiser and gentle cleansers. So much less oily!
