One of the craziest skincare myths I've come across is the idea that you can use mayonnaise as a moisturizer. Some people claim that slathering your face with mayonnaise will hydrate your skin and give you a dewy glow, thanks to its egg and oil content. However, this can lead to clogged pores and breakouts instead of healthy skin!🤭 Another bizarre hack is the notion that using urine on your skin can clear up acne. While urine does contain urea, which has some skincare benefits, applying it directly can introduce bacteria and lead to irritation or infection. 🫢😬 And then there's the infamous "toothpaste for acne" myth, where people believe that applying toothpaste to pimples will dry them out. While it might temporarily reduce the appearance of a pimple, the harsh ingredients can irritate the skin and cause more harm than good. 😁
