Even before I had treatment for pre-cancerous cells on my face, I always used moisturiser with SPF. However, now I will not consider moisturiser with under SPF 50 unless it is winter and I have no plans to go outside (you could almost read 2024 for that with all the rain!!!).
My daily morning facial routine starts with clean skin, then serum, eye cream, moisturiser with SPF50 then makeup if I'm going out, before later in the day removing any makeup, cleansing, applying night serum and night cream.
I also have a weekly routine with hand and feet masks, if I can make the time, and a face and/or eye mask, but I have to be careful with a face mask to keep it away from the treated area just above my jawline to avoid irritating it. I'm also trying out eye lash serum, as with age they get more sparse!!!
