Wash face daily in the morning with exfoliating face wash. Apply hydrating face cream. Only use cosmetics after applying face cream. At night rub face with half cut tomato, wash off with water and apply hydrating night cream.

1 Despite having oily skin, I aim for balance by washing my face with a mild cleanser so as not to create dryness and thereby exacerbate any tendency for my skin to produce even more oil. I also take care to do this with lukewarm water as hot water can make blemishes worse! 2 I look for the term 'non-comedogenic' on my skin care product labels as this means itโ€™s unlikely to block my pores and cause dreaded breakouts! - ๐Ÿ˜Cerave is my absolute favourite skin care product range and they're also recommended by Dermatologists, which makes me feel that I'm in safe hands! 3 As tough as it is, after a late night out on the town, I try hard to remove all my make-up before falling into bed. ๐Ÿ˜‡ 4 As tempting as it is, I try hard not to squeeze blackheads or spots as it tends to make them worse and can cause scarring too! ๐Ÿ˜ž 5 I  try and exercise regularly to keep up my spirit and self-confidence

Undeniably a good skin care routine , being properly hydrated , eating well & exercise is always recommended. Unfortunately a lot of us know that doesnt always do the job. An investment ,silk pillowcases are much healthier for your skin & hair, they must be washed regularly(they dry really quickly too.) They arenโ€™t cheap though,I wish they had been available for our budget in the 70โ€™s & 80โ€™s when my teenage skin was at itโ€™s worst. In the shower wash your face last so there arenโ€™t traces of hair conditioner on your face. Keep hair away from face when you sleep. First you get spots, then later you get wrinkles & when you get your first spots in your wrinkles you know Mother Nature has a twisted sense of humour. You are your harshest critic so be kind to yourself.

I find anything with salicylic acid really helps with blemishes
