As someone who suffered with hormonal acne, inflamed spots and scars, having a routine tailor made for me was the best option for my skin. I chose never to wear makeup - as I found this made me more congested. However it is very important to wear SPF 50 every day and double cleansing helps to remove everything lodged in my pores. My tips: ๐Ÿ˜Š - Double cleanse every night - Use a retinol for your acne OR topical medication avaliable from a dermatologist - Find a good ingredient for your acne! My personal favs are salicylic acid or azelaic acid - Don't pick your blemishes! Allow them to heal naturally. - Always moisturise! It is a common myth that people with oily, blemish prone skin do not need to moisturise. Find one that hydrates your skin, and doesn't leave a greasy feel.
